Sölden - Hot Spot in the Alps

Sölden stands for the full variety of winter as it plays host to the yearly held Alpine Ski World Cup races and is one of Europe's most renowned ski and snowboard centers. But also in the summer Sölden has a lot to offer, among the highlights are some 300 kilometers of signposted hiking trails for all preferences and ability levels. What's more, the upper Ötztal Valley makes a truly unique heaven for passionate mountain bikers. Most tours are quite challenging as they lead up to the eternal ice beyond 2850 m altitude. Additionally a myriad of events is scheduled in Sölden, ranging from internationally renowned sports events to popular hiking weeks or music festivals.
